Multi-display Switch Circuit: Procedure
- INSPECT TELLTALE LIGHT ASSEMBLY (MULTI-DISPLAY SWITCH)
- Disconnect the F74 telltale light assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F74-3 (SW1) - F74-4 (E) "OPEN/CLOSE" switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher F74-3 (SW1) - F74-4 (E) "OPEN/CLOSE" switch pressed Below 1 Ω F74-2 (SW2) - F74-4 (E) "TILT" switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher F74-2 (SW2) - F74-4 (E) "TILT" switch pressed Below 1 Ω TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*1 Component without harness connected

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- Disconnect the F74 telltale light assembly connector.
- Disconnect the F72 display module board connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F74-3 (SW1) - F72-13 (VCC) Always Below 1 Ω F74-2 (SW2) - F72-14 (VDD) Always Below 1 Ω F74-3 (SW1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher F74-2 (SW2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher F74-4 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
