DVD Image Signal Circuit between Navigation ECU and Multi-display: Procedure
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- Disconnect the F31 display and navigation module display connector.
- Disconnect the F37 multi-media module wire connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F31-10 (NTSF) - F37-2 (NTS1) Always Below 1 Ω F31-21 (SGD1) - F37-7 (SGN1) Always Below 1 Ω F31-10 (NTSF) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher F31-21 (SGD1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher F31-22 (SLD1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT MULTI-MEDIA MODULE WIRE
- Disconnect the F37 multi-media module wire connector.
- Disconnect the DC1 multi-media module wire connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F37-2 (NTS1) - DC1-4 (NTS1) Always Below 1 Ω F37-7 (SGN1) - DC1-16 (SGN1) Always Below 1 Ω TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*1 Component without harness connected

- INSPECT DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY (DVD IMAGE SIGNAL)
- Reconnect the F31 display and navigation module display connector.
- Check the waveform according to the table below.
- Oscilloscope waveform

The video waveform changes according to the image output from the display and navigation module display to the multi-display, but the synchronization signal does not change.
