DTC P2121: Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "D" Circuit Range/Performance: Procedure
- CHECK ANY OTHER DTCS OUTPUT (IN ADDITION TO DTC P2121)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain/Engine/Trouble Codes.
- Read the DTCs.
Result
Display (DTC Output) Proceed to P2121 A No output B HINT:
If any DTCs other than P2121 are output, trouble shoot those DTCs first.

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (ACCEL SENSOR OUT NO. 1 AND NO. 2)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain/Engine/Data List/Accel Sensor Out No. 1 and Accel Sensor Out No. 2.
- Read the values displayed on the Techstream.
Standard voltage

- REPLACE ACCELERATOR PEDAL ROD ASSEMBLY
- Replace the accelerator pedal rod assembly. Refer to REMOVAL .

- CHECK WHETHER DTC OUTPUT RECURS (ACCELERATOR PEDAL POSITION SENSOR DTCS)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream on.
- Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK/CLEAR .
- Start the engine.
- Drive the vehicle in accordance with the driving pattern described in the Confirmation Driving Pattern.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain/Engine/Trouble Codes.
- Read the DTCs.
