Rain Sensor Circuit: Procedure

1. Disconnect the E11 windshield wiper relay assembly (auto wiper relay) connector.

2. Disconnect the Q3 rain sensor connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   E11-8 (SIG) - Q3-4 (SIG)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E11-14 (PA1) - Q3-3 (AUTO)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E11-25 (E) - Q3-1 (ES)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   Q3-4 (SIG) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   Q3-3 (AUTO) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   Q3-1 (ES) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK → PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
