Yaw Rate Sensor Communication Stop Mode: Procedure
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN NO. 1 BUS WIRE (YAW RATE SENSOR BRANCH WIRE)
- Turn the engine switch off.
- Disconnect the yaw rate sensor connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Value E88-3 (CANH) - E88-2 (CANL) Engine switch off 54 to 69 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN NO. 1 BUS BRANCH WIRE OR CONNECTOR (YAW RATE SENSOR)
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (IG, GND)
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Value E88-1 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω - Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Value E88-5 (IG) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 10 to 14 V
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK → See step 3
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- REPLACE YAW RATE SENSOR. Refer to REMOVAL
