AMP Sound Signal Circuit between Radio Receiver Assembly and Stereo Component Tuner: Procedure

1. Disconnect the R3 receiver connector.

2. Disconnect the S23 amplifier connector.
3. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

   Standard resistance

   Tester Connection	Specified Condition
   R3-8 (R+) - S23-11 (R+)	Below 1 Ω
   R3-9 (L+) - S23-12 (L+)	Below 1 Ω
   R3-18 (R-) - S23-23 (R-)	Below 1 Ω
   R3-19 (L-) - S23-24 (L-)	Below 1 Ω
   R3-8 (R+) or S23-11 (R+) - Body ground	10 kΩ or higher
   R3-9 (L+) or S23-12 (L+) - Body ground	10 kΩ or higher
   R3-18 (R-) or S23-23 (R-) - Body ground	10 kΩ or higher
   R3-19 (L-) or S23-24 (L-) - Body ground	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

OK → PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
