Translate ECU Communication Stop Mode: Procedure

  1. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (TRANSLATE ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the T28 translate ECU connector.

    2. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      T28-40 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      T28-1 (IG1) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

    OK → REPLACE TRANSLATE ECU
