Shift Paddle Switch: Removal: Removal

  1. ALIGN FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD 
  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    WARNING:

    Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent airbag deployment. Refer to PRECAUTION .

  3. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
  4. REMOVE LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 3
  5. REMOVE STEERING PAD  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 5
  6. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 11
  7. REMOVE SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH 
    1. Disconnect the clamp from the steering wheel assembly.

    2. Disconnect the switch wire connector from the steering wheel assembly.
    3. Disconnect the 2 connectors from the 2 shift paddle switches, and remove the switch wire.

    4. Remove the 4 screws, 2 brackets and 2 shift paddle switches.
