Brake Control Power Supply: Removal: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    WARNING:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT 
    1. Remove the floor mat.
  3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT NO. 1 TRIM COVER 
    1. Remove the trim cover.
  4. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 rope hooks.
  5. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 
    1. Remove the 3 clips and finish plate.
  6. REMOVE ROPE HOOK 
    1. Remove the 2 rope hooks.
  7. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT NO. 2 TRIM HOOK 
    1. Remove the 2 trim hooks.
  8. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 
    1. Remove the 4 clips and trim cover.
  9. REMOVE SIDE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH 
    1. Remove the bolt and rope hook.
    2. Remove the 2 clips and trim cover.
  10. REMOVE BRAKE CONTROL POWER SUPPLY ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the 3 nuts and brake control power supply.

    3. Remove the 4 bolts and 2 brackets.
