DTC B2611: Telescopic Position Sensor or Telescopic Motor Circuit Malfunction: Procedure

1. Select the Active Test, use Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that the telescopic motor operates.
   MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU

   OK

   Steering wheel moves toward or away from driver depending on command.

OK → REPLACE MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU 

NG: Go to next step

1. Disconnect connector A from the multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU.
2. Apply battery voltage to the telescopic motor connector and check the operation of the column.

   OK

   Measurement Condition	Specified Condition
   Battery positive (+) → Terminal 6 Battery negative (-) → Terminal 5	Column contracts
   Battery positive (+) → Terminal 5 Battery negative (-) → Terminal 6	Column extends

NG → REPLACE TILT STEERING GEAR ASSEMBLY WITH MOTOR 

OK → REPLACE MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU
