Steering Pad Switch Circuit: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (STEERING PAD SWITCH MODULATOR)
- Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the steering pad switch.TESTER DISPLAY

- Check if the vehicle is equipped with a navigation system.
- RESET STEERING PAD SWITCH MODULATOR
- Turn the ignition switch to ACC, and perform steps (b) and (c) and with 30 seconds.
- Press and hold the MODE switch for more than 10 seconds.
- After releasing the MODE switch, press the channel up switch 3 times, and then the channel down switch 3 times within 5 seconds.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON then turn it off.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Check the proper operation of the steering pad switch modulator.
Result
Steering pad switch assembly is proper operation.
