Steering Pad Switch Circuit: Procedure

1. Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the steering pad switch.

1. Check if the vehicle is equipped with a navigation system.

A: Go to next step 

1. Turn the ignition switch to ACC, and perform steps (b) and (c) and with 30 seconds.
2. Press and hold the MODE switch for more than 10 seconds.
3. After releasing the MODE switch, press the channel up switch 3 times, and then the channel down switch 3 times within 5 seconds.
4. Turn the ignition switch to ON then turn it off.
5. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
6. Check the proper operation of the steering pad switch modulator.

   Result

   Steering pad switch assembly is proper operation.
