    2. Disconnect the L23 selector connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F34-3 (FL+) - L23-3 (L5+) Always Below 1 Ω
      F34-4 (FL-) - L23-4 (L5-)
      F34-1 (FR+) - L23-1 (R5+)
      F34-2 (FR-) - L23-2 (R5-)
F34-3 (FL+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F34-4 (FL-) - Body ground
      F34-1 (FR+) - Body ground
      F34-2 (FR-) - Body ground
      F34-5 (SLD1) - Body ground

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK: Go to next step

  2. CHECK DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY
    1. Reconnect the F34 navigation connector.

    2. Using an oscilloscope, check the signal waveform between each terminal and body ground according to the conditions shown in the chart below.

      Signal Waveform

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
L23-3 (L5+) - Body ground Audio sound is being produced A waveform synchronized with sound is output
      L23-4 (L5-) - Body ground
      L23-1 (R5+) - Body ground
      L23-2 (R5-) - Body ground

    NG → See step   4

    OK → See step   3

  3. PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
  4. REPLACE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY. Refer to  REMOVAL
