Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT FUSE (RADIO NO. 1, P-ACC, P-IG1-1) 
    1. Remove the RADIO NO. 1, P-ACC and P-IG1-1 fuses from the passenger side junction block.
    2. Measure the resistance of according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFIED CONDITIONS

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      RADIO NO.1 fuse Always Below 1 Ω
      P-ACC fuse
      P-IG1-1 fuse

    NG: REPLACE FUSE 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the L59 display connector
    2. Measure the resistance of according to the value(s) in the table below

      Standard resistance 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFIED CONDITIONS

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L59-10 (GND1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    3. Measure the voltage of according to the value(s) in the table below

      Standard voltage 

      VOLTAGE SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      L59-1 (+B1) - L59-10 (GND1) Always 11 to 14 V
      L59-2 (ACC) - L59-10 (GND1) Power switch ON (ACC) 11 to 14 V
      L59-3 (IG) - L59-10 (GND1) Power switch ON (IG) 11 to 14 V

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  )
