Television Display: Removal

  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH  (See REMOVAL )
  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:
    • After the power switch is turned OFF, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch OFF, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    • When disconnecting the cable some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (see INITIALIZATION ).
  4. REMOVE SPOT LIGHT LENS 
    1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the lens.

  5. REMOVE ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.
    2. Detach the 6 clips and 2 claws.
    3. w/o Infrared Rays Sensor:

      Disconnect the connector and remove the roof console box.

    4. w/ Infrared Rays Sensor:

      Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the roof console box.

  6. REMOVE TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connectors.
    2. Remove the 5 nuts.

    3. Detach the 3 claws and remove the television display.

  7. REMOVE TELEVISION DISPLAY BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts.
    2. Detach the clip and move the bracket in the direction indicated by arrow A Then detach the claw to remove the bracket
      NOTE: Do not reuse the removed clip.
