    2. Disconnect the R32 controller connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L62-3 (FL+) - R32-3 (L5+) Always Below 1 Ω
      L62-4 (FL-) - R32-4 (L5-)
      L62-1 (FR+) - R32-1 (R5+)
      L62-2 (FR-) - R32-2 (R5-)
      L62-5 (SLD1) - R32-5 (SLD5)
L62-3 (FL+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L62-4 (FL-) - Body ground
      L62-1 (FR+) - Body ground
      L62-2 (FR-) - Body ground

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK: Go to next step

  2. CHECK DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY
    1. Reconnect the L62 navigation connector.

    2. Using an oscilloscope, check the signal waveform between each terminal and body ground according to the conditions, as shown in the chart below.

      Signal waveform

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
R32-3 (L5+) - Body ground Audio sound is being produced A waveform synchronized with sound is output
      R32-4 (L5-) - Body ground
      R32-1 (R5+) - Body ground
      R32-2 (R5-) - Body ground

    NG → See step   4

    OK → See step   3

  3. PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
  4. REPLACE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL
