STARTER (for AWD): Removal

REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
1. Remove the exhaust manifold RH (See REMOVAL ).
REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET RH (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE NO. 3 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR
1. Remove the 3 bolts and heat insulator.

REMOVE STARTER ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the starter.

2. Open the terminal cap.
3. Remove the 2 nut and disconnect the starter wire.
4. Disconnect the starter connector and remove the starter.

5. Remove the flywheel housing side cover.
