DTC B22AE Open in Alternater Charge Line: Description

The electric power control ECU receives the ECM's generator control signal, compares the value with the battery current and battery voltage signals, and detects generator charging line malfunctions.

DTC DETECTION CONDITION CHART

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
B22AE Either of following conditions is detected:
  1. Disconnection of B terminal of generator is detected
  2. Open in IG circuit is detected
  • Generator
  • Wire harness
