Problem Symptoms Table

Proceed to the reference shown in the table below for each malfunction symptom and troubleshoot each circuit.

WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM:

Symptom Suspected Area Refer To
The wireless door lock control system does not operate. 1. Perform the operation check Refer to OPERATION CHECK 
2. Check if the MULTIPLEX communication DTC is output Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR
3. Door control transmitter Refer to INSPECTION
4. Door courtesy light switch circuit Refer to Door Courtesy Switch Circuit
5. Luggage compartment door courtesy light switch Refer to INSPECTION
6. Power source circuit Refer to Power Source Circuit
7. Replace door control receiver -
8. Replace certification ECU -
9. If the symptom still occurs after the above areas have been inspected and proved to be normal, replace the main body ECU RH (cowl side J/B RH) -
The panic alarm function only does not operate. 1. Perform the operation check Refer to OPERATION CHECK 
2. Door control transmitter Refer to INSPECTION
3. If the symptom still occurs after the above area has been inspected and proved to be normal, replace the main body ECU RH (cowl side J/B RH) -
The panic alarm function does not operate (Vehicle horn). 1. Perform the operation check Refer to OPERATION CHECK 
2. Horn circuit Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
3. If the symptom still occurs after the above areas have been inspected and proved to be normal, replace the main body ECU RH (cowl side J/B RH) -
The panic alarm function does not operate (Security horn). 1. Perform the operation check Refer to OPERATION CHECK 
2. Security horn circuit Refer to Security Horn Circuit
3. If the symptom still occurs after the above areas have been inspected and proved to be normal, replace the main body ECU RH (cowl side J/B RH) -
The panic alarm function does not operate (Hazard warning light). 1. Perform the operation check Refer to OPERATION CHECK 
2. Wire harness -
3. Turn signal flasher Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
4. If the symptom still occurs after the above areas have been inspected and proved to be normal, replace the main body ECU RH (cowl side J/B RH) -
The panic alarm function does not operate (Headlight or taillight). 1. Perform the operation check Refer to OPERATION CHECK 
2. Lighting system Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
3. If the symptom still occurs after the above areas have been inspected and proved to be normal, replace the main body ECU RH (cowl side J/B RH) -
The automatic lock function does not operate normally. 1. Perform the operation check Refer to OPERATION CHECK 
2. Door courtesy light switch circuit Refer to Door Courtesy Switch Circuit
3. If the symptom still occurs after the above areas have been inspected and proved to be normal, replace the main body ECU RH (cowl side J/B RH) -
The door ajar warning function only does not operate. 1. Perform the operation check Refer to OPERATION CHECK 
2. Door courtesy switch circuit Refer to Door Courtesy Switch Circuit
3. If the symptom still occurs after the above areas have been inspected and proved to be normal, replace the main body ECU RH (cowl side J/B RH) -
The illuminated entry function only does not operate. 1. Perform the operation check Refer to OPERATION CHECK 
2. Lighting system Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
3. If the symptom still occurs after the above area has been inspected and proved to be normal, replace the main body ECU RH (cowl side J/B RH) -
The answer back function does not operate (Wireless door lock buzzer). 1. Perform the operation check Refer to OPERATION CHECK 
2. Lock position switch circuit -
- Driver door Refer to Driver Side Door UNLOCK Detection Switch Circuit
- Front passenger door Refer to Front Passenger Side Door UNLOCK Detection Switch Circuit
- Rear passenger door LH Refer to Rear Door UNLOCK Detection Switch LH Circuit
- Rear passenger door RH Refer to Rear Door UNLOCK Detection Switch RH Circuit
3. Wireless door lock buzzer circuit Refer to Wireless Door Lock Buzzer Circuit
4. If the symptom still occurs after the above areas have been inspected and proved to be normal, replace the main body ECU RH (cowl side J/B RH) -
The answer back function does not operate (Hazard warning light). 1. Perform the operation check Refer to OPERATION CHECK 
2. Lock position switch circuit -
- Driver door Refer to Driver Side Door UNLOCK Detection Switch Circuit
- Front passenger door Refer to Front Passenger Side Door UNLOCK Detection Switch Circuit
- Rear passenger door LH Refer to Rear Door UNLOCK Detection Switch LH Circuit
- Rear passenger door RH Refer to Rear Door UNLOCK Detection Switch RH Circuit
3. Wire harness -
