Actuator Power Source Circuit: Procedure

INSPECT FUSE (POWER)
1. Remove POWER fuse from the driver side J/B.

2. Check continuity of the POWER fuse.
  Standard resistance
  
  Below 1 Ω (Continuity)
NG → REPLACE FUSE

OK: Go to next step
CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU - BATTERY)
1. Disconnect the multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU connector.

2. Measure the voltage between terminals +B and GND of the ECU connector.
  Standard voltage
  
  10 to 14 V
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK: Go to next step
CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU - BODY GROUND)
1. Measure the resistance between terminal GND of the ECU connector and body ground.

  Standard resistance
  
  Below 1 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK → PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
