Front Active Stabilizer Control Actuator: Installation: Installation

1. Install the 2 bushings.

   HINT: 

   • Install each bushing to the inner side of each bushing stopper on the stabilizer bar.
   • Install each bushing with its slit facing the vehicle front side.

1. Push the bracket toward the outside of the vehicle against the frame, and temporarily install the bolt labeled (1).
2. Install bolt (2). Then tighten bolt (1). Then install bolt (3) and (4).

   Torque: 49 N*m ( 500 kgf*cm, 36 ft.*lbf) 

3. Install bolt (5).

   Torque: 100 N*m ( 1020 kgf*cm, 74 ft.*lbf) 

4. Install the wire clamp to the bracket.

HINT: 

Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

1. Temporarily install the control actuator, 2 bushings and 2 brackets with the 4 bolts.
   NOTE:

   Install the actuator so that it is on the right side of the vehicle.

1. Tighten the bracket with the 2 bolts.

   Torque: 49 N*m ( 500 kgf*cm, 36 ft.*lbf) 

HINT: 

Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

1. Install the under cover with the screw.

1. Install the under cover with the screw.

1. Install the link to the lower arm side and stabilizer bar side with the 2 nuts.

   Torque: 84 N*m ( 857 kgf*cm, 62 ft.*lbf) 

HINT: 

Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

1. Using the procedures below, connect the connector to the front active stabilizer control ECU.
   • (1) Connect the connector to the front active stabilizer control ECU. (*1)
   • (2) Rotate the lever in the direction of the arrow until a "click" sound is heard. (*2)
   • (3) Lock the lever's lock. (*3)
2. Install the wire clamp to the bracket.

Torque: 103 N*m ( 1050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf) 

1. Perform initialization Refer to INITIALIZATION .
   NOTE:

   Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
