Steering Control Ecu: Installation: Installation

INSTALL STEERING CONTROL ECU
1. Install the ECU with the 3 screws.

  HINT:
  - Align positioning boss (A) of the blower with the hole of the ECU.
  - Securely detach the hook (B) of the ECU with the blower.
2. Connect the 3 ECU connectors.

INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL NO. 2 UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 7
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
PERFORM VARIABLE GEAR RATIO STEERING SYSTEM CALIBRATION
1. Perform variable gear ratio steering system calibration. Refer to CALIBRATION .
