Display Signal Circuit between Multi-display and Television Camera Assembly: Procedure
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MULTI-DISPLAY - TELEVISION CAMERA)
- Disconnect the K47 display connector.
- Disconnect the Y8 camera connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Specified Condition K47-13 (CA+) - Y8-4 (CB+) Below 1 Ω K47-14 (CGND) - Y8-3 (CGND) Below 1 Ω K47-27 (V+) - Y8-2 (CV+) Below 1 Ω K47-28 (V-) - Y8-1 (CV-) Below 1 Ω K47-13 (CA+) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher K47-14 (CGND) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher K47-27 (V+) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher K47-28 (V-) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK MULTI-DISPLAY
- Reconnect the K47 display connector.
- Measure the voltage of the connector.
Standard voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Y8-4 (CB+) - Y8-3 (CGND) Power switch ON (IG), shift lever in R position Approx. 6 V
NG → REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY
- Reconnect the Y8 camera connector.
- Check the waveform of the camera using an oscilloscope.
OK
