Ignition Coil: Installation: Installation

  1. INSTALL IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the 6 ignition coils with the 6 bolts.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

    2. Connect the 6 ignition coil connectors.

    3. Attach the 3 wire harness clamps and connect the noise filter connector.
  2. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 2
  3. INSTALL NO. 2 VENTILATION HOSE  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 3
  4. INSTALL V-BANK COVER  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 132
  5. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 133
  6. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 134
  7. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 135
  8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  9. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization, refer to INITIALIZATION .
      NOTE:

      Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
