Cellular Phone Voice Circuit Between Radio Receiver and Stereo Component Amplifier: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER) 
    1. Disconnect the radio receiver connector E70 and stereo component amplifier connector M30.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      IO1+ - II1+ Always Below 1 Ω
      IO1- - II1- Always Below 1 Ω
      IO1+ - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      IO1- - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK → PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
