Dimmer Signal Circuit: Procedure

1. Disconnect the radio receiver connector E70 and main body ECU connector E60.

2. Measure the resistance according to the values in the table below.

   Standard resistance

   Tester connection	Condition	Specified condition
   ADIM - ACAN	Always	Below 1 Ω
   ADIM - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Connect the main body ECU connector.

2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the light control switch to the TAIL or HEAD position.
4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard voltage

   Tester connection	Condition	Specified condition
   ADIM - Body ground	Light control switch in TAIL or HEAD	10 to 14 V

NG → See step   3 

OK → PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
