Rear Airbag Sensor: Removal

HINT:

Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE COVER (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE WIND DEFLECTOR BOARD ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (See DISASSEMBLY )
REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE REAR AIRBAG SENSOR LH
1. Remove the 3 nuts and sensor.
2. Disconnect the sensor connector.
