Roof Headlining: Disassembly

  1. OPEN ROOF PANEL HALFWAY 
    1. Open the roof panel halfway (see MANUAL OPEN OPERATION ).

  2. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Using a clip remover, detach the 5 clips.
    2. Using a screwdriver, detach the 6 claws and remove the scuff plate.

      HINT:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  3. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures described for the RH side.

  4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH 
    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws and remove the trim cover.

      HINT:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures described for the RH side.

  6. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH 
    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 clips and remove the garnish.

      HINT:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  7. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures described for the RH side.

  8. REMOVE VISOR BRACKET COVER RH 
    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws and remove the bracket cover.

      HINT:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  9. REMOVE VISOR BRACKET COVER LH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures described for the RH side.

  10. REMOVE VISOR ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and visor.

  11. REMOVE VISOR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and visor.
  12. REMOVE VISOR HOLDER 
    1. Remove the 2 holders by turning them counterclockwise.

  13. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using a screwdriver, pry out the 2 lenses.

      HINT:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and map light.
    3. Disconnect the map light connector.

  14. REMOVE ROOF FRONT CORNER HEADLINING RH 
    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 clips and remove the headlining.

      HINT:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  15. REMOVE ROOF FRONT CORNER HEADLINING LH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures described for the RH side.

  16. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

    2. Pull the headlining as indicated by the arrow in the illustration, to detach the 4 claws. Then remove the headlining.

  17. REMOVE ROOF SIDE RAIL GARNISH ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 clips and 3 claws. Then remove the garnish.

      HINT:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  18. REMOVE ROOF SIDE RAIL GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures described for the RH side.

  19. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY CENTER 
    1. Using a clip remover, remove the 5 clips.
    2. Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 clips labeled A and remove the headlining.

      HINT:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  20. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER RH 
    1. Using a clip remover, remove the clip labeled A.
    2. Using a screwdriver, detach the 7 clips and claw. Then remove the garnish.

      HINT:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  21. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER LH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures described for the RH side.

  22. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY REAR 
    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 7 clips and remove the headlining.

      HINT:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
