Emission Control: Canister: Removal

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
DISCONNECT REAR DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY RH
1. Remove the rear drive shaft assembly (see REMOVAL ).
REMOVE CANISTER ASSEMBLY
1. Disconnect the connector.

2. Disconnect the 3 hoses.
  1. Disconnect the purge line hose.
  2. Disconnect the air inlet line hose (leak detection pump).
  3. Disconnect the vent line hose from the canister.

3. Remove the 4 nuts and canister.
