Data List / Active Test
- READ DATA LIST
HINT:
Using the Data List displayed ont he Techstream, you can read the value of the switch, sensor, actuator, etc. without parts removal. Reading the Data List as the first step in troubleshooting is one way to shorten the labor time.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Turn the tester ON.
- Enter the following menus: Body electrical / desired system / Data List.
- According to the display ont he tester, read "Data List".

DATA LIST - THEFT DETERRENTTester Display Test Part Control Range Diagnostic Note Wireless Operation SW Wireless door lock control function signal / ON or OFF ON: Wireless door lock function operates
OFF: Wireless door lock function does not operate- Wireless Buzzer Volume Wireless door lock buzzer volume control signal / MAX, MID1 to 3, MIN or OFF MAX: Wireless door lock buzzer's volume is maximized (knob turned clockwise to maximum amount)
MID 1 to 3: Wireless door lock buzzer's volume is low (1), medium (2) or high (3)
MIN: Wireless door lock buzzer's volume is minimized (knob turned counterclockwise as close to volume OFF as possible)
OFF: Wireless door lock buzzer volume is OFF (knob turned fully counterclockwise)- Hazard Answer Back Hazard answer back signal / ON or OFF ON: Hazard warning lights flash when any switch on transmitter is pressed
OFF: Hazard warning lights do not flash- Wireless P/W Down Power window down of wireless signal / ON or OFF ON: Wireless power window down function is ON
OFF: Wireless power window down function is OFF- Indicat. Lamp Door Door ajar warning signal / ON or OFF ON: A door is open
OFF: No doors are open- Auto Lock Time Delay Auto lock time signal / 30s or 60s 60s: Door auto locking time is 60 seconds
30s: Door auto locking time is 30 seconds- Wireless Trunk Lid Oper Wireless luggage compartment door open function signal /1 time, 2 times, 0.8s PR or OFF 1 time: Luggage compartment door opens when wireless LUGGAGE switch is pressed once
2 times: Luggage compartment door opens when wireless LUGGAGE switch is pressed twice
0.8s PR: Luggage compartment door opens when wireless LUGGAGE switch is held down for 0.8 seconds or more
OFF: Wireless luggage compartment door open function does not operate- Wireless 2oper Unlock Wireless unlock operated twice signal / ALL or D_door ALL: All doors unlock when wireless UNLOCK switch is pressed once
D_door: Driver side door unlocks when wireless UNLOCK switch is pressed once- Number Of Reg Id Code Number of registered key / Min.: 0, Max.: 8 0 to 8 - Immobilizer
DATA LIST - IMMOBILIZERTester Display Test Part Cntrol Range Diagnostic Note Key SW Unlock warning switch signal / ON or OFF ON: Key is in ignition key cylinder
OFF: No key is in ignition key cylinder-
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST
HINT:
Performing the Active Test using the Techstream allows the relay, VSV, actuator, etc. to operate without removing any parts. Performing the Active Test as the first step of troubleshooting is one way to shorten labor time.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Turn the tester ON.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / theft Deterrent / Active Test.
- According tot he display ont he tester, perform the "Active Test".
