Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU

    1. Disconnect the T8 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.
      ECU CONNECTOR TERMINAL SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      IG (T8-2) - Body ground V-W - Body ground IG power supply Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
      Ignition switch OFF Below 1 V
      +B (T8-10) - Body ground L-W - Body ground +B power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      ECUB (T8-5) - Body ground L-B - Body ground ECUB power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      GND (T8-4) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      ECUE(T8-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the T8 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connectors.
      ECU CONNECTOR TERMINAL SPECIFIED CONDITION

      TIM - (A-3) - GND (T8-4) --W-B Tilt motor DOWN drive output Ignition switch ON, tilt and telescopic manual switch ON 10 to 14 V
      TIM- (A-3) - GND (T8-4) --W-B Tilt motor DOWN drive output Ignition switch ON, tilt and telescopic manual switch OFF Below 1 V
      TIM+ (A-4) - GND (T8-4) --W-B Tilt motor UP drive output Ignition switch ON, tilt and telescopic manual switch ON 10 to 14 V
      TIM+ (A-4) - GND (T8-4) --W-B Tilt motor UP drive output Ignition switch ON, tilt and telescopic manual switch OFF Below 1 V
      TEM- (A-5) - GND (T8-4) --W-B Telescopic motor LONG drive output Ignition switch ON, tilt and telescopic manual switch ON 10 to 14 V
      TEM- (A-5) - GND (T8-4) --W-B Telescopic motor LONG drive output Ignition switch ON, tilt and telescopic manual switch OFF Below 1 V
      TEM+ (A-6) - GND (T8-4) --W-B Telescopic motor SHORT drive output Ignition switch ON, tilt and telescopic manual switch ON 10 to 14 V
      TEM+ (A-6) - GND (T8-4) --W-B Telescopic motor SHORT drive output Ignition switch ON, tilt and telescopic manual switch OFF Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  2. CHECK TRANSPONDER KEY ECU

    1. Disconnect the T13 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.
      ECU CONNECTOR TERMINAL SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      IG (T13-2) - Body ground B - Body ground IG power supply Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
      IG (T13-2) - Body ground B - Body ground IG power supply Ignition switch OFF Below 1 V
      CPUB (T13-1)-Body ground L-B - Body ground B power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      GND (T13-14) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the T13 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connector.
      ECU CONNECTOR TERMINAL SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      KSW (T13-3) - GND (T13-14) LG-B - W-B Unlock warning switch signal input Key is inserted in ignition key cylinder 10 to 14 V
      KSW (T13-3) - GND (T13-14) LG-B - W-B Unlock warning switch signal input No key is inserted in ignition key Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.
