Front Door Lock: Inspection
- INSPECT FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH
- Apply battery voltage to the door lock and check operation of the motor.

MEASUREMENT SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTMeasurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → Terminal 4
Battery negative (-) → terminal 1Lock Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1
Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4Unlock HINT:
If the result is not as specified, replace the door lock assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Door Lock Position Specified Condition 7 - 8 Lock 10 kΩ or higher 7 - 8 Unlock Below 1 Ω HINT:
If the result is not as specified, replace the door lock assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Condition Specified Condition 7 - 9 ON (Door lock set to LOCK) Below 1 Ω 7 - 9, 7 - 10 OFF (Free) 10 kΩ or higher 7 - 10 ON (Door lock set to UNLOCK) Below 1 Ω HINT:
If the result is not as specified, replace the door lock assembly.
- Apply battery voltage to the door lock and check operation of the motor.
