Active Height Control Pump And Motor: Removal
- DISCHARGE SUSPENSION FLUID PRESSURE
- Connect a hose to the bleeder plug for the height control accumulator and loosen the bleeder plug.
- Discharge the suspension fluid pressure.
- After the fluid pressure has dropped and oil has drained out, tighten the bleeder plug and remove the hose.
Torque: 6.9 N*m (70 kgf*cm, 61 in.*lbf)
- REMOVE REAR QUARTER PANEL MUDGUARD RH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER
- Remove the bumper cover (See REMOVAL ).
- REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT NO. 1 SIDE COVER PROTECTOR (See DISASSEMBLY )
- REMOVE FUEL TANK FILLER PIPE PROTECTOR
- Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 3 screws, 2 grommets and pipe protector.
- DISCONNECT REAR NO. 6 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE
- Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the No. 6 height control tube from the pump and motor.
- REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE CLAMP
- Disconnect the tube clamp from the hose, then remove the 2 bolts and tube clamp.
- REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL PUMP AND MOTOR ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the 2 connectors and 3 clamps.
- Remove the 3 bolts and pump and motor.
