Active Height Control Pump And Motor: Removal

DISCHARGE SUSPENSION FLUID PRESSURE
1. Connect a hose to the bleeder plug for the height control accumulator and loosen the bleeder plug.
2. Discharge the suspension fluid pressure.
3. After the fluid pressure has dropped and oil has drained out, tighten the bleeder plug and remove the hose.
  Torque: 6.9 N*m (70 kgf*cm, 61 in.*lbf)

REMOVE REAR QUARTER PANEL MUDGUARD RH (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER
1. Remove the bumper cover (See REMOVAL ).
REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT NO. 1 SIDE COVER PROTECTOR (See DISASSEMBLY )
REMOVE FUEL TANK FILLER PIPE PROTECTOR
1. Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 3 screws, 2 grommets and pipe protector.

DISCONNECT REAR NO. 6 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE
1. Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the No. 6 height control tube from the pump and motor.

REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE CLAMP
1. Disconnect the tube clamp from the hose, then remove the 2 bolts and tube clamp.

REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL PUMP AND MOTOR ASSEMBLY
1. Disconnect the 2 connectors and 3 clamps.

2. Remove the 3 bolts and pump and motor.
