System Description
- METER GAUGE AND WARNING/INDICATOR
Meter/Gauge
ITEM SPECIFICATIONItem Details Speedometer Based on a signal received from the wheel speed sensor, the skid control ECU calculates the vehicle speed and transmits data to the combination meter (CAN) Tachometer The combination meter receives an engine speed signal from the ECM and the gauge needle operates (CAN) ODO/TRIP meter - The combination meter receives a vehicle speed pulse integration signal from the skid control ECU and the ODO/TRIP meter display operates (CAN)
- Using the ODO/TRIP switch, the ODO/TRIP meter display changes
Fuel receiver gauge The combination meter receives fuel amount information measured by the fuel sender gauge and the gauge needle operates (Direct line) Engine coolant temperature receiver gauge The combination meter receives an engine coolant temperature signal from the ECM and the gauge needle operates (CAN) Oil pressure receiver gauge The combination meter receives an engine speed signal from the ECM (CAN) and receives an oil pressure sender signal from the oil pressure sender (Direct line) Then the meter measures signals and the gauge needle operates. Voltage meter Monitors IG voltage and the gauge needle operates (Direct line) Warning/Indicator

DISPLAY CHARTDisplay Outline CURRENT Receives vehicle speed pulse signals (CAN) and fuel consumption data, and measures the instant fuel consumption. OUTSIDE TEMP Receives an outside temperature condition signal via CAN communication and displays through the multi-display AFTER REFUELING Receives vehicle speed pulse signals (CAN) and fuel consumption data, and measures the average fuel consumption from the time the vehicle was refueled CRUISING RANGE - Calculates the estimated distance to empty
- The distance is calculated using the fuel gauge value and long-term learned fuel consumption value
AFTER START (Average speed) Receives vehicle speed pulse signals (via the direct line and CAN) and fuel consumption data, and measures the average vehicle speed from the time the engine was started AFTER START (Travel distance) Receives vehicle speed pulse signals (CAN) and fuel consumption data, and measures the distance driven from the time the engine was started Tire Pressure Reset Proceeding Receives a tire pressure condition signal via CAN communication, and displays through the multi-display - Basic Flowchart.
- Multi-information display:
When a warning is necessary, the warning display interrupts the multi-information display.
The master warning light may illuminate or blink and a buzzer may sound depending on the item in the multi-information display.
- Cruise information display:
