Lumbar Support Adjuster Assembly: Installation

HINT:

• Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
• The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. INSTALL LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH 
   1. Install the lumbar support adjuster with the 2 screws.
   2. Connect the lumbar support adjuster connector.

   3. Attach the 4 hooks to install the seatback spring.
   4. Install the 4 springs.

2. INSTALL SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER (w/ Climate Control Seat System)  (See REASSEMBLY  )
3. INSTALL SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD 
   1. Install the seatback cover with pad to the seatback frame.
   2. Install the seatback cover bracket to the seat frame with the nut.

      Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf) 

      CAUTION: After the seatback cover is assembled, make sure the side airbag strap is not twisted.

   3. Attach the 9 hooks.
   4. Using hog ring pliers, install 3 new hog rings to the seat frame.

   5. w/o Climate Control Seat System:

      Connect the seat heater connector and attach the 2 wire harness clamps.

   6. w/ Climate Control Seat System:
      1. Attach the 2 claws to connect the duct.

      2. Connect the seat heater connector and attach the 3 wire harness clamps.

4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT  (See REASSEMBLY  )
5. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH  (See REASSEMBLY  )
6. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH  (See REASSEMBLY  )
7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH  (See INSTALLATION )
8. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH  (See REASSEMBLY  )
9. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB  (See REASSEMBLY  )
10. INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB  (See REASSEMBLY  )
11. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Install the front seat assembly (See REASSEMBLY  ).
12. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH  (See INSTALLATION )
