Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU LH

    1. Disconnect the c38 and c39 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
      CONNECTOR TERMINAL REFERENCE

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      c38-1 (IG) - Body ground G - Body ground Power source Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      c38-2 (B) - Body ground G - Body ground Power source Always 11 to 14 V
      c38-12 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the c38 and c39 ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage and resistance of the connectors.

      c38-4 (BFC+) - Body ground LG - Body ground Seat climate control blower signal (for seat cushion) Engine switch on (IG) Climate control seat switch off Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (IG) Climate control seat switch on 11 to 14 V
      c38-5 (BCS) - Body ground L - Body ground Seat climate control blower signal (for seat cushion) Engine switch on (IG) Climate control seat switch off Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (IG) Climate control seat switch on (blower position) 3 to 8V
      c38-6 (BFC-) - Body ground B - Body ground Seat climate control blower signal (for seat cushion) Always Below 1 Ω
      c38-7 (TDC-) - Body ground L - Body ground Power supply for seat cushion Peltier element (Cool) Engine switch on (IG) Climate control seat switch off Below 1 V

      c38-21 (IND) - Body ground R - Body ground Illumination signal Engine switch on (IG) Climate control seat switch off Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (IG) Climate control seat switch on 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  2. CHECK SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU RH

    1. Disconnect the c24 and c25 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      CONNECTOR TERMINAL REFERENCE

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      c24-1 (IG) - Body ground G - Body ground Power source Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      c24-2 (B) - Body ground G - Body ground Power source Always 11 to 14 V
      c24-11 (VER) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      c24-12(GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the c24 and c25 ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction
