How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT:

• Use these procedures to troubleshoot the power door lock control system.
• *: Use the Techstream.

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 
2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS 
3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 

   Standard voltage: 

   11 to 14 V 

   If the voltage is below 11V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding

4. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
   1. Use the Techstream to check if the LIN communication system is functioning normally.

   B: Go to LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM  (See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART )

5. CHECK FOR DTC* 
   1. Check for DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
   2. Clear the DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
   3. Recheck for DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR )
