Inspection Procedure

HINT:

After the inspection is completed, clear the DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR  ).

1. CHECK REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY

   1. Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform.

      Measurement Condition 

      WAVEFORM REFERENCE
      
      

      Item	Content
      Terminal No. (Symbol)	S5-2 (CV+) - S5-1 (CV-)
      Tool Setting	0.2 V/DIV., 20 μs/DIV.
      Condition	Engine switch on (IG), shift lever moved to R

      OK: Pulse generation 

   NG: REPLACE REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )

   OK: Go to Next Step 

2. CHECK DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY (CA+ VOLTAGE) 
   1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION
      
      

      Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
      F27-13(CA+) - F27-14 (CGND)	Engine switch on (IG), shift lever moved to R	5.8 to 6.5 V

   NG: REPLACE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY  (See REMOVAL  )

   OK: Go to Next Step 

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY REAR TELEVISION CAMERA) 
   1. Disconnect the F27 display connector.
   2. Disconnect the S5 camera connector.
   3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      S5-3 (CGND) - F27-14 (CGND)	Always	Below 1 Ω

      S5-1 (CV-) - F27-28 (V-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
      S5-4 (CB+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
      S5-3 (CGND) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
      S5-2 (CV+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
      S5-1 (CV-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

   OK: REPLACE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY  (See REMOVAL  )
