Radio Receiver: Removal

  1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH  (See REMOVAL )
  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:
    • w/ Navigation System:

      After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
  3. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH  (See REMOVAL )
  4. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH  (See REMOVAL )
  5. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  6. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  7. REMOVE NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  8. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (w/o Navigation System)  (See REMOVAL  )
  9. REMOVE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY WITH BRACKET (w/ Navigation System)  (See REMOVAL )
  10. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and 2 bolts.

    2. Pull the radio receiver to detach the 7 claws on the backside of the radio receiver.
    3. Disconnect the connectors and remove the radio receiver.

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and bracket.

  12. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and bracket.
