Shoulder Belt Anchorage Switch: Removal

HINT:

  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH  (See REMOVAL )
  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
    NOTE:
    • After the power switch is turned OFF, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch OFF, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (see INITIALIZATION ).
  4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG  (See REMOVAL )
  5. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  7. REMOVE HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE ANCHOR SWITCH 
    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the switch

    HINT:

    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
