Inspection Procedure
- READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM (HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE ANCHOR SWITCH RH)
- Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the height adjustable anchor switch
- Intelligent tester
P-DOOR:

OFF Down switch is not pressed- OK: On tester screen, each item changes between ON and OFF according to above chart.
NG: Go to step 4
OK: Go to next step
- Intelligent tester
- Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the height adjustable anchor switch
- INSPECT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR RH
- Remove the belt anchor (see REMOVAL )
- Apply battery voltage to the shoulder belt anchor and check the operation of the shoulder belt anchor.

OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR - REAR JUNCTION BLOCK ECU)
- Disconnect the R8 anchor connector.
- Disconnect the S62 ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

OK: REPLACE LUGGAGE ROOM JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY (REAR JUNCTION BLOCK ECU)
- INSPECT HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE ANCHOR SWITCH RH
- Remove the anchor switch (see REMOVAL )
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below

OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE ANCHOR SWITCH FRONT DOOR ECU)
- Disconnect the P1 switch connector
- Disconnect the P4 ECU connector
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
