DTC Check / Clear

CHECK DTC
1. Connect the intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3
2. Turn the power switch ON (IG).
3. Turn the tester on
4. Enter the following menus
  1. Intelligent tester - Select. DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / (desired system) / DTC INFO
  2. Techstream - Select. Body Electrical or Powertrain / (desired system) / Trouble Codes
5. Read the DTCs.
  HINT
  - When using the intelligent tester or Techstream with the power switch OFF to troubleshoot. Connect the intelligent tester or Techstream to the vehicle, and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5 seconds intervals until communication between the tester and vehicle begins

CLEAR DTC
1. Connect the intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3
2. Turn the power switch ON (IG).
3. Turn the tester on
4. Enter the following menus.
  1. Intelligent tester - Select. DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / (desired system) / DTC INFO
  2. Techstream - Select: Body Electrical or Powertrain / (desired system) / Trouble Codes
5. Erase the DTCs
  HINT
  - When using the intelligent tester or Techstream with the power switch OFF to troubleshoot: Connect the intelligent tester or Techstream to the vehicle, and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5 seconds intervals until communication between the tester and vehicle begins.
