Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK NO. 1 METER ECU

    1. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION TABLE

      L10-1 (B) - Body ground G - Body ground Turn signal L Engine switch on (IG), turn signal LH indicator light OFF Below 1 V

      L10-2 (PBLT) - Body ground SB - Body ground Seat belt condition signal (Passenger side) Passenger seat belt indicator is OFF Below 1 V
      Passenger seat belt indicator blinks Alternating between below 1 and 11 to 14 V
      L10-4 (A/B) - Body ground B - Body ground ODO/TRIP signal Engine switch on (IG), ODO/TRIP switch ON Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (IG), ODO/TRIP switch OFF 4.4 to 5.5 V
      L10-5 (RSET) - Body ground BR - Body ground TRIP RESET signal Engine switch on (IG), TRIP RESET switch ON Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (IG), TRIP RESET switch OFF 4.4 to 5.5 V
      L10-7 (RHDW) - Body ground L - Body ground Light control rheostat DOWN signal Engine switch on (IG), Light control rheostat DOWN switch ON Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (IG), Light control rheostat DOWN switch OFF 4.4 to 5.5 V
      L10-8 (RHUP) - Body ground R - Body ground Light control rheostat UP signal Engine switch on (IG), Light control rheostat UP switch ON Below 1 V

      HINT:
      *: Stands for electric parking brake If the result is not as specified, the meter may have a malfunction.
    2. Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform.

      HINT:

      As vehicle speed increases, the cycle of the signal waveform narrows.
