Inspection Procedure

1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage 

   VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION CHART
   
   

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   R32-5 (MUT5) - Body ground	Turn engine switch to ACC, audio system is playing → Changing modes	Above 3.5 V → Below 1 V

NG: Go to step 2

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )

1. Disconnect the L62 navigation connector.
2. Disconnect the R32 controller connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance 

   RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION CHART
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   L62-8 (MUTE) - R32-6 (MUT5)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   L62-8 (MUTE) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK: REPLACE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
