Name Plate: Installation
HINT
When installing the emblem and plate, heat the vehicle body, emblem and plate using a heat light.
Heating Temperature

NOTE:
Do not heat the vehicle body, emblem and plate excessively.
- INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT FENDER NAME PLATE
- Clean the vehicle body surface
- Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface
- Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body
- Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner
- Clean the No. 2 front fender name plate (if reusing the No. 2 front fender name plate)
- Using a heat light, heat the No. 2 front fender name plate
- Remove the double-sided tape from the No. 2 front fender name plate
- Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner
- Apply new double-sided tape to the No. 2 front fender name plate
- Install the No. 2 front fender name plate
- Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and No. 2 front fender name plate
- Remove the peeling paper from the face of the No. 2 front fender name plate
HINT
After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter
- Engage the 2 pins and install the No. 2 front fender name plate.
- Clean the vehicle body surface
- INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT FENDER NAME PLATE
- Clean the vehicle body surface
- Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface
- Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.
- Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
- Clean the No. 1 front fender name plate (if reusing the No. 1 front fender name plate).
- Using a heat light, heat the No. 1 front fender name plate
- Remove the double-sided tape from the No. 1 front fender name plate.
- Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
- Apply new double-sided tape to the No. 1 front fender name plate.
- Install the No. 1 front fender name plate.
- Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and No. 1 front fender name plate.
- Remove the peeling paper from the face of the No. 1 front fender name plate.
HINT.
After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter
- Engage the 2 pins and install the No. 1 front fender name plate.
- Clean the vehicle body surface
- INSTALL NO. 3 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR PLATE
- Clean the vehicle body surface.
- Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.
- Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body
- Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
- Clean the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate (if reusing the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate)
- Using a heat light, heat the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate
- Remove the double-sided tape from the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate.
- Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner
- Apply new double-sided tape to the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate
- Install the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate.
- Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and No. 3 luggage compartment door plate.
- Remove the peeling paper from the face of the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate

- Engage the 2 pins and install the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate
- Clean the vehicle body surface.
- INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR NAME PLATE
- Clean the vehicle body surface
- Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface
- Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body
- Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner
- Clean the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate (If reusing the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate)
- Using a heat light, heat the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate.
- Remove the double-sided tape from the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate
- Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
- Apply new double-sided tape to the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate
- Install the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate.
- Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate.
- Remove the peeling paper from the face of the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate.
HINT.
After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.
- Engage the 2 pins and install the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate.
- Clean the vehicle body surface
- INSTALL SYMBOL EMBLEM
- Clean the vehicle body surface.
- Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.
- Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.
- Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner
- Clean the symbol emblem (if reusing the symbol emblem).
- Using a heat light, heat the symbol emblem.
- Remove the double-sided tape from the symbol emblem.
- Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
- Apply new double-sided tape to the symbol emblem.
- Install the symbol emblem.
- Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and symbol emblem.
- Remove the peeling paper from the face of the symbol emblem
HINT:
After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.
- Engage the 2 pins and install the symbol emblem.
- Clean the vehicle body surface.
