Steering Pad Switch: Removal
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system (See
PRECAUTION
).
NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See
INITIALIZATION
).
- REMOVE LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER

- REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER

REMOVAL
)
- REMOVE STEERING PAD
(See
REMOVAL
)
- REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the cruise switch connector
- Disengage the connector clamp
- Disconnect the pad switch connector.

- Remove the screw.
- Disengage the 2 claws and remove the steering pad switch.
