Front Airbag Sensor: Removal

HINT:

• Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
• The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. PRECAUTION 
   CAUTION: Be sure to read "PRECAUTION" thoroughly before servicing (See AIRBAG SYSTEM ).
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
   CAUTION: Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent airbag deployment.
3. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL  (See REMOVAL )
4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH  (See REMOVAL )
5. REMOVE FRONT UPPER FENDER PROTECTOR UPPER LH  (See REMOVAL )
6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER  (See DISASSEMBLY )
7. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
8. REMOVE FRONT AIRBAG SENSOR 
   1. Remove the 2 bolts and front airbag sensor from the body.
   2. Disconnect the connector from the front airbag sensor LH.
