Amplifier Antenna: Installation

  1. INSTALL AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the clip as shown in the illustration to temporarily install the amplifier antenna assembly.
      NOTE:
      • Clean the antenna conductors on the rear window with a non-residue solvent where the contact terminals will touch.
      • When installing a new amplifier antenna assembly, do not remove the protective cover until immediately before installation.
      • Do not touch the contact terminals.

    2. Install the 2 nuts and amplifier antenna assembly

      Torque: 14 N*m (143 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)

    3. Connect the connector
    4. Engage the clamp.
  2. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY 

    (See INSTALLATION )

    HINT

    Refer to the procedures from " 2 Install Roof Headlining Assembly"

  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
  4. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT 

    (See DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM )
