Section 16 (Emission Control): Canister: Installation

  1. INSTALL CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the charcoal canister assembly with the 4 nuts.

      Torque: 15 N*m (150 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf)

    2. Connect the 2 quick connectors, hose and connector.

    3. Connect the wire harness with the 2 clamps.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 FLOOR UNDER COVER 
    1. Install the No. 1 floor under cover with the 3 nuts and 6 clips.

  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
