Inspection Procedure
- CHECK OPEN IN CAN BUS WIRE (DISTANCE CONTROL ECU BRANCH LINE)
- Turn the engine switch off.
- Disconnect the distance control ECU connector (J17).
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard resistance

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE DISTANCE CONTROL ECU BRANCH WIRE OR CONNECTOR (CAN-H, CAN-L)
OK: Go to Next Step
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (+B, GND)
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION CHARTTester Connection Condition Specified Value J17-12 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω - Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard voltage

OK: REPLACE DISTANCE CONTROL ECU
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
