Inspection Procedure
- CHECK OPEN IN CAN BUS WIRE (CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR BRANCH LINE)
- Turn the engine switch off.
- Disconnect the center airbag sensor connector (J47).
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard resistance

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR BRANCH WIRE OR CONNECTOR (CANH, CANL)
OK: Go to Next Step
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (IG2, E1, E2)
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION CHARTTester Connection Condition Specified Value J47-25 (E1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω J47-26 (E2) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω - Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard voltage

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: REPLACE CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
